Freedom Hold Ranch is based on the experiences, reasearch, and knowledge of the site creator and contributing writers.

We have an active retreat and MAG organization that is relied upon heavily to provide real-world testing and experience. Some of the writings are based on either actual solutions we have employed, or ideas for best practices of what we would most likely use.

Most of the MAG leadership is ex-military, so you will definitely see firearms/gear leanings – but please do not take this as an indicator that other more “domestic” skills/topics are avoided.
